If the Los Angeles Lakers win the 2020 NBA title, shooting guard Avery Bradley will receive a championship ring.

However, Bradley told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports he's not 100 percent certain he will accept the ring since he's not playing in the “bubble” games down in Orlando, Florida.

“Yes, [Lakers general manager] Rob Pelinka made me aware of the Lakers offering me a ring if they win the championship,” Avery Bradley told Yahoo Sports via phone on Tuesday afternoon. “It’s a very kind gesture on their part.

“Will I accept the ring? I’m neither here nor there about it. I am 10 years in this league. The physical possession of a ring doesn’t make me feel like more or less of a person. I play basketball strictly for enjoyment and to add to the support of my family. Supporting them is exactly what I’m doing right now.”

Bradley opted out of participating in the 2019-20 season resumption at Walt Disney World on June 23 because of health concerns related to his 6-year-old son, Liam. The Lakers signed JR Smith as Bradley's replacement.

Los Angeles has the best record in the Western Conference standings. With superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge, the Purple and Gold have a strong chance of winning the championship this year.

In his first season with the Lakers, Bradley averaged 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 49 games. Along with playing stellar defense, the 29-year-old also shot 44.4 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.
