It seems the Los Angeles Lakers have hit a rough patch after star forward, Anthony Davis got injured. It's been up to LeBron James to continue carrying the squad, but as of late, the Lakers have fallen to a four-game losing streak. Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, has sent a short, yet, encouraging tweet in an attempt to boost the Lakers' morale amid the team's current slump.

It's been a wild ride for World Peace's career. He's come a long way from his rough days of nearly fighting everybody in the league. To see him pulling for the Lakers now shows how much he's grown over the years.

At the end of the day though, Metta World Peace is probably correct with his statement. Los Angeles currently ranks third in the Western Conference and they have one of the deepest rosters within the league.

The team is still trying to figure out how to play without Anthony Davis, a task much easier said than done. He's been a beast throughout his career, and this season, Davis has been on a tear. He's been averaging 22.5 points, three assists, and 8.4 rebounds. For the Lakers, they need to find a way to make up those 22 points per game to make up for the loss of Davis.

Anthony Davis is potentially set to be out for an additional four weeks. The Lakers will likely be okay, as Metta World Peace has pointed out, but the team needs to come together and play better basketball to remain at the top of a tough Western Conference.

The Lakers will have a chance to break their losing streak on Friday, February 26th against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers.
