UCLA basketball freshman guard Amari Bailey has been a key part of the team's run in the NCAA Tournament so far, and he spoke on the possibility of going to the NBA Draft after this season.

Really just focusing day by day,” Bailey said via Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times. “You know, I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Right now, I'm focused on helping win banner No. 12, that's my No. 1 goal.”

Bailey has had a successful season with UCLA, averaging 10.9 points with 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, according to sports reference. He played a big part on their two wins to reach the Sweet 16.

The UCLA basketball program beat UNC Asheville 86-53 in the first-round. Amari Bailey scored 17 in the game, tied with his teammate Jaime Jaquez Jr. for the most of any player in that game. UCLA's second game was much closer, but ended with a 68-63 victory for UCLA over Northwestern. Jaime Jaquez Jr. was the star of the show with 24 points, but Bailey scored 14 with six assists and four rebounds.

UCLA will play the Gonzaga basketball program with a trip to the elite eight on the line in Las Vegas on Thursday. If UCLA moves past Gonzaga basketball, they will face the winner of the UConn vs Arkansas game that is taking place on the same day.

The UCLA Bruins have big things on their mind in the coming weeks, with a trip to the Final Four, and a potential National Championship on the line. Until the season comes to an end, we will not know if Amari Bailey will enter the NBA Draft or stay for a second year at UCLA.
