Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic returned from a seven-game absence during Wednesday's contest versus the Sacramento Kings and wasted little time reestablishing himself as one of the league's preeminent distributors, dishing out this svelte no-look assist to Maxi Kleber, who jammed the ball unguarded during the first quarter, forcing the Kings to call timeout.

While Doncic's all-around game receives a vast amount of the attention surrounding the MVP candidate, the Mavs star's passing skills fly somewhat under the radar. Entering play Wednesday, he ranked third in the league in assists per game (8.7), with none that he collects against Sacramento likely to come easier than the one he hit Kleber with.

The Mavs were able to tread water in the Western Conference without Doncic available, posting a 3-4 record. As they push toward the postseason, Doncic and his dazzling array of skills will become integral to the team's chances of a deep playoff run.
