Just recently, Team USA teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were seen working out together in Miami. Through their Twitter account, Bleacher Report posted this video of the two getting shots up:

This is not the first time Durant and Irving have shared the court together. The 6-foot-3 spitfire guard won his first Olympic gold medal in 2016, alongside Durant. They also teamed up in the recent All-Star Game when LeBron James drafted both of them to his team.

Both superstars have also been interested in playing for the Miami Heat at some point, including back when Durant was still a free agent in 2016 and last year when Irving was forcing a trade out Cleveland. Those deals never materialized as Durant surprisingly signed with the powerhouse Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics made a bold move to snatch Irving in a trade.
With LeBron James finally leaving the East, Irving and the Celtics are the favorite to meet up with Durant and the Warriors in the NBA Finals. The 2014 Most Valuable Player is coming off back-to-back successful championship runs with the Warriors (the first coming against Kyrie), while Kyrie had a disappointing end to his first season with the green and white as he sustained a season-ending injury that forced him to miss the Celtics' deep playoff run.
While Durant and Irving could square off in the Finals yet again, could this workout also perhaps be a precursor for a future team-up? You never know in the NBA.
