ClutchPoints has formed a new partnership with the PlayersTV network owned by athletes like Chris Paul, Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving.

The agreement will allow ClutchPoints to launch PlayersTV and help produce original content. There are also four female athletes joining the PlayersTV ownership group in advance of the deal, per release (via Sports Business Journal):

In celebration of women's history month, PlayersTV is welcoming softball player A.J. Andrews, and WNBA players Natasha Cloud, Angel McCoughtry and Aerial Powers as athlete owners. Each of the women athletes will develop shows for PlayersTV, including working in both production and talent roles.

PlayersTV Network has experienced tremendous growth since its creation nearly one year ago.

Over 50 athletes have a stake in the media subsidiary, including Los Angeles Dodgers ace and reigning National League Cy Young Trevor Bauer–who is also a top creator with Momentum–as well as MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The addition of the women athletes points to the growing number of women pushing for ownership as well as a greater place in the media space.
