Newly retired Kobe Bryant received the birthday gift many sneakerheads would yearn for — a customized pair of shoes.

Marking the Black Mamba’s birthday on Aug. 23, Bryant received a pair of his own signature shoes, the Nike Kobe 11 “Mambacurial.”

The shoes are based on the low-top style that he brought back to the NBA — lightweight, responsive, and stylish as ever.

The shoes feature an etched swoosh logo into the woven material on each side.
