Kristaps Porzingis caused quite a stir recently when he posted a cryptic tweet that sent shockwaves around the basketball world. Despite it already being deleted now, the post with the name of the L.A. Clippers on it had many believing that he may want to play for them next season.

However, the Los Angeles faithful may want to keep their expectations low as a representative of the 7-foot-3 Latvian international revealed that he was sleeping when it was published, and that his Twitter account was apparently hacked.

The Knicks had a lot of turmoil this season and a lot of changes with their personnel, both in the front office and on the court, are expected to be made come summertime. Despite Porzingis being thought of as their future franchise player, it appears that no one in their roster is safe from being traded, especially after another disappointing campaign.

Porzingis is currently in Barcelona, Spain and even took to his Twitter account to share a photo of him with soccer superstar Neymar, where the two exchanged jerseys. His representative may have shut down the speculations of him moving to L.A. for now, but until next season starts and he's not seen wearing a Knicks jersey again, it can be expected that more trade rumors will surround him throughout the offseason.
