The Minnesota Vikings were hit hard with COVID-19 issues and quarterback Kirk Cousins didn't hold back regarding his stance on getting the vaccination. Well, backup quarterback and rookie Kellen Mond had some interesting comments himself regarding the situation.

Cousins has been vocal about it and even made a comment about adding plexiglass around the complex to prevent the spread. Now, Mond has issued some comments as well.

The Minnesota Vikings had issues this year with COVID-19 protocols already during the preseason and head coach Mike Zimmer was vocal about the frustration, especially after the NFL put forth new rules regarding vaccinated and unvaccinated players.

The NFL's new policy greatly benefits players who have received the vaccinations, and many players have come out and received it because of that. However, there are some players who refuse to mention if they have or not, and things could get really tricky during the regular season as well.

The 2021 NFL season should be a good one, and the Vikings have been one of the hardest hit teams by COVID-19 just a few weeks into the preseason, so certainly something to monitor going forward.

But, Kellen Mond and Kirk Cousins issued comments that sounded awfully similar.
