With the 2022 NBA Draft approaching in the next couple of months, more and more players are making the decision to either stay in college or take their talents to the professional level. After a solid junior year where he led the UCLA Bruins in scoring, Johnny Juzang announced that he will declare for the draft.

Juzang made the announcement on Instagram:

The NBA Draft will be held on June 23rd and Juzang is projected to be a second-round pick. The California native really broke onto the scene in the 2021 NCAA Tournament, helping the Bruins make a run all the way to the Final Four while posting 22.8 points per night in six games. He initially declared for the draft after March Madness but ultimately returned for the 2021/2 campaign. Juzang averaged 15.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game last season as UCLA was knocked out in the Sweet 16 by North Carolina.

ā€œWhat a ride it's been,ā€ Juzang wrote on Instagram. ā€œLast year's run to the Final Four, and this year's electric season and atmosphere at Pauley Pavilion, were so much fun to be a part of. Growing up in Los Angeles to then doing Los Angeles proud is more than a kid could ask for.ā€

Best of luck to Johnny Juzang in the 2022 NBA Draft.
