The Chicago Bears added a notch to their win column after pulling off a thrilling victory against the Denver Broncos. There were plenty of highlights Bears fans will be talking about for days.

However, the game's final sequences got everyone confused everyone who was watching. Even the most knowledgeable fans had to scratch their heads and refresh their memory to figure out what happened.

With the game hanging in the balance and Chicago leading 13-12 after a Denver touchdown in the final minute, the two-point conversion was the sensible play for the Broncos. The ball was at the two-yard line, but Denver wasn't able to settle on the winning play.

The Broncos got slapped with a penalty for delaying the game, and coach Vic Fangio then decided to go for the PAT kick in response. However, the Chicago defensive line was called offside on the missed PAT kick. The Bears were penalized once again.

With the line of scrimmage moved once more, the window for the two-point play was opened once more. Denver did indeed choose to try for two again.

However, chaos ensued when the ball was put at the one-yard line instead of the 3.5-yard line, or — as an alternative — the 2-yard line, the original line of scrimmage for the first 2-point try which had the delay of game penalty.

The Broncos cashed in, converting the two-point play that gave Denver a narrow 14-13 lead late in the game.

It seemed like the game was over by then, but Eddy Pineiro had different plans. He broke the thousands of hearts that came out to cheer at the Mile High Stadium. He converted a 53-yard game-winner that gave the game a fairytale ending for Chicago.
