The Chicago Bears have been an NFL rumor mill lately. Sitting at 4-7 in the NFC North division, the Bears are staring at the possibility of their first losing season under head coach Matt Nagy, who finished 12-4 in his first season only to record back-to-back 8-8 records. Nagy, whose job has been rumored to be in danger, might not be the only one in trouble after the season.

Wow. That sounds like Bears ownership has made up its mind as far as Matt Nagy's status goes. However, CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones went even further, saying that he expects Bears general manager Ryan Pace to meet a similar fate.

While this is more of speculation on the part of Jones, it would certainly make sense for the Bears to start with a new general manager if Nagy is on the way out. For all the heat that Nagy has taken, Pace deserves some criticism for some, uh, questionable decisions he's made as well.

Pace has also had some good finds as the Bears personnel boss, though Jones indicates that the belief was always that Nagy and the general manager were a package deal.

Unless the Bears mount a late-season rally behind rookie quarterback Justin Fields, it sounds like both Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace could be in trouble.
