The Milwaukee Bucks have been able to find a good amount of success this season after winning an NBA title a year ago. Despite many of their injuries, worst to Brook Lopez, the Bucks are still the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

Many of the reasons why the Bucks have found plenty of success this season is because Giannis Antetokounmpo is still playing like the best player in the world, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are playing like some of the best players in the world once again, and Bobby Portis, who has had to fill in for Brook Lopez, has really stepped up.

As everyone knows, Giannis and Bobby are two of the Bucks' funniest players, which is why they are so popular amongst the fans. Both of them tell the story of how Bobby Portis wanted to wear number 34, but Giannis refused to give it up in a recent interview with The Athletic, and it was golden.

According to Eric Nehm, Milwaukee Bucks reporter for The Athletic, Bobby Portis had this to say when asking about being able to wear number 34 on the Bucks,

“I offered to pay for it, but he wouldn't give it up. Swear to God, I was going to give him some bread for it, but he wouldn't give it up.”

According to Eric Nehm, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks superstar, wears number 34 because of his mom and dad.

“My mom was born in 1963. My dad was born in 1964. So I took the three and the four, 34. And Thanasis took the four and the three.”

These guys are awesome, and Milwaukee is lucky to have both of them.
