Drake fans in Milwaukee won't be hearing any Drake songs on the radio for the next couple of weeks. You can thank the Bucks for that. Well, kind of.

A local Milwaukee radio station, 103.7 KISS FM, has taken a “Break from Drake” until the Eastern Conference Finals series between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Toronto Raptors is over, according to Herb Scribner of The Deseret News.

The station's hosts posted on Facebook making the announcement:

“I have an idea, Drake is from Toronto,” said Riggs, one of the station’s DJs. “Drake is a big smack talker on the basketball court. I say until the series is over, we take a break from playing Drake. No more Drake ’till the series is done.”

As many basketball fans know, Drake is a huge supporter of his hometown Toronto Raptors. The Emmy-award winning rapper is also known to give some sports teams the “Drake curse”, especially if they are against teams he represents.

So far, if there has been some kind of curse from Drake, it has not worked.

The Bucks cruised to an easy 125-103 victory in Game 2 to gain a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven series with the Raptors.

The top-seeded Bucks trailed and struggled through the first three quarters of Game 1. Since then, Milwaukee has dominated Toronto in the fourth quarter of Game 1 and through the entirety of Game 2.

MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 30 points and 17 rebounds, while five other Bucks scored 12 points or more.

Based on how Milwaukee has outclassed Toronto so far through two games, it looks like the “Break from Drake” won't last for long. Nevertheless, the Bucks merely took care of business at home. Can they continue their dominance and conquer Jurassic Park as well?

Surely, Drake will be watching.
