Boston Celtics big man Al Horford has been dealing with an undisclosed illness. He was originally listed as questionable for Wednesday night's Game 2 matchup against the Indiana Pacers, but he felt well enough to take the floor. Now, according to an official report from the team, he's fully recovered.

Celtics head coach Brad Stevens shared an update on Horford's status Friday morning, noting that he has “kicked his illness to the side” and “looked great” at shootaround:

Horford struggled to find a rhythm in Game 2, but the Celtics managed to carry the day, 99-91. In 37 minutes of action, the former No. 3 overall pick recorded just four points on 2-of-6 shooting from the field, though he did record 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks. To be fair, he didn't take his first shot until late in the second quarter, and his first points came in the fourth:

“It wasn't just about putting points on the board, it was just about doing the little things,” Kyrie Irving told ESPN during his postgame media availability. “It was a gritty win.”

The fact that Horford is feeling better is good news for the Celtics, as he's the anchor of their froncourt. Through the two games he has played in this postseason, he has racked up averages of 7.0 points on 37.5 percent shooting (25.0 percent from beyond the arc), 10.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and a block in 35.0 minutes per outing.

The Celtics and Pacers will meet for Game 3 on Friday night. Tip-off inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse is set for 8:30 p.m. ET, with ABC having live broadcast coverage.
