Hall of Famer Grant Hill is just one of the many who have called out Kyrie Irving for his role in the Boston Celtic's disappointing season, which came to an end on Wednesday as they were eliminated by the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Hill had some harsh words for Irving, who he believes could have been a better leader for the team throughout the season:

Hill is definitely rubbing salt on Irving's fresh wounds here, but in truth, it's hard to argue about his statement.

It was indeed a weird season for Kyrie, who himself seemed to be confused about what type of role he had to play for the Celtics, especially in terms of his leadership.

In the middle of the season, Irving memorably called out his teammates for their alleged lack of maturity. He then took back these statements shortly after and apologized for what he considered to be a mistake. The former Rookie of the Year took it a step further by reaching out to his former teammate, LeBron James, to talk about his development as a leader.

All this drama could have been a great coming-of-age narrative, but unfortunately, it turned out to be too much of a distraction for the team.

At this point, Kyrie Irving's big offseason decision has just gotten even more interesting, with the odds now swinging toward a move away from Boston for the one-time NBA champ.
