Boston Celtics All-Star swingman Jayson Tatum became a father just two months after he started his NBA career.

On this Father's Day, the 22-year-old is eternally grateful to have his son, Deuce, in his life.

Tatum wrote a letter to Deuce, saying:

“You have changed my life for the better and have shaped me into a better man as I hope to do the same with you when you are older.”

Tatum has emerged as a superstar for the Celtics in his third season in the league.

But interestingly enough, his own son might have just as large of a fan following in the world of the Celtics (per Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston):

Yes, Deuce Tatum might just be the biggest celebrity at TD Garden these days. Fans scream for him by name whenever he’s walking with his grandmother, Brandy Cole, to his loge-level seats. Ask the elder Tatum’s Celtics teammates and they’ll confirm that Deuce is easily the biggest rock star in the Tatum family.

“Deuce by far. He’s Deuce,” said Marcus Smart. “He’s got everybody changing his diapers and, whatever he wants, they’re attentive to him. It’s definitely Deuce by far. Whatever Deuce says goes. Deuce cries and it’s always like, ‘What’s wrong, Deuce?’ When JT cries, everybody just looks at him. I gotta go with Deuce.”

The youngest Tatum is capturing the attention of Celtics fans and players, and his dad is setting quite an example both on and off the floor.

“Taco Jay” was averaging 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists through his first 59 games for the Celtics, asserting himself as Boston's most lethal offensive player and a tremendous wing defender.

Celtics fans hope this is the beginning for Tatum. In the meantime, their star is also hoping for something else: to be the best father he can be.
