The Boston Celtics' double-overtime triumph over the Los Angeles Clippers was one of the great games of the season. One of the biggest talking points for fans — and Kemba Walker — is the incredible scoring display by Jayson Tatum against one of the favorites to win the NBA Finals.

Tatum finished with an incredible 39 points to get the Celtics above the Clippers in what is a classic display of basketball. He was the reason why the Celtics managed to run away with the win, and Kemba Walker recognized his efforts by giving him the ultimate praise.

The Athletic's Keith Smith was present when the point guard was questioned about Tatum's impact on the team. He confirmed what many saw, saying that Tatum's scoring performance in the night is the best display of scoring he's seen yet from the young man.

Tatum was simply unstoppable from the field, making 61% of his 23 shot attempts. He was also deadly from three-point land, making five of his 10 shot attempts. The fact that he did that at such a young age is more than enough to make a lot of Boston fans giddy about what's in store with Tatum at the helm.

Of course, he wasn't the only Celtic who stepped up. Marcus Smart chipped in with his 31 points; Gordon Hayward had a decent double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds; Kemba himself finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.

The Celtics aren't as eye-catching as the rest of the top teams in the league, but they're slowly building a dynasty. Fans will have a lot of great basketball to look forward to with Tatum leading the charge.
