Boston Celtics star Kemba Walker has been taken to a hospital following his scary in-game collision with teammate Semi Ojeleye.

Walker collided with Ojeleye in the second quarter of Boston's Friday night showdown with the Denver Nuggets. Walker went down to the floor and was immediately checked by the team's medical staff before being stretchered off the floor.

The team has already played down any significant injury on Walker, saying in their injury report that the All-Star point guard suffered concussion-like symptoms. However, they will err on the side of caution with this one since it is an injury in the head/neck area.

It remains to be seen what the real extent of Kemba's injury is, but it's a good thing that the Celtics will have a two-day break before returning to action on Monday against the Sacramento Kings.

Boston is currently dealing with an injury to Gordon Hayward, so the team is undoubtedly hoping Kemba's injury is not serious and that he will not miss significant time due to the injury.

Walker has been a huge part of Boston's hot start to the season, averaging 22.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game as the Celtics jumped to an 11-3 start prior to the game against the Nuggets.
