The Boston Celtics fell to the Milwaukee Bucks in a closely-contested game, 121-119, on Wednesday. One of the sights from the court was Boston guard Marcus Smart and teammate Daniel Theis having an intense conversation.

It is unknown what the two were discussing, but there is a chance that one or both of them would not be suiting up for the Celtics with the looming trade deadline. Boston is widely believed to be active in the trade market to improve their underwhelming campaign so far. The Beantown team is in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with a 21-23 record.

If there is one thing we know about a Danny Ainge front office, it is that anyone can be traded for the right price. Just look at how Isaiah Thomas was dealt away after having an MVP-like season. Granted it was for Kyrie Irving and Thomas had a hip injury, but the move did not pan out.

Marcus Smart is the best defender on the Celtics and one of the best in the league as evidenced by his two selections to the All-Defensive First Team. He is a very streaky shooter and plays with a lot of energy. He has also been steadily improving in his playmaking.

On the other hand, Daniel Theis has been part of a three-man center rotation for head coach Brad Stevens. He is more versatile than Tristan Thompson and Robert Williams and is capable of hitting outside shots. His play for the Celtics has been inconsistent though, and he is undersized for the five.
