Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown has been one of the most promising young talents in the NBA. Since being drafted in 2016, Brown has performed wonderfully. He's averaging 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in his sophomore season with the Celtics.

Being a jack-of-all-trades kind of player, Brown is the glue to the Celtics' championship formula. This year's team features most of their younger depth, which has been Boston's formula ever since. On Thursday night, the Celtics took on the Timberwolves wherein they saw a scary sight that is all too familiar.

After finishing a two-handed dunk, Brown suffered a nasty fall that knocked the air out of the fans and players at the arena.

The second-year pro showed some hope after the injury, walking off of the court and signaling to his fans as he left. Multiple players showed their support for Brown on Twitter, voicing their hopes and prayers for the young Celtics player.

This injury for Brown could have some severe implications for him moving forward. The league is very strict on their concussion protocol. Head and back injuries are definitely serious dilemmas and the NBA would be liable if players could return quickly after the type of injury that Brown sustained.

Brown will likely undergo some extensive tests for his injury, being evaluated by team doctors. Therefore, do not expect the young forward to be back on the court soon. This is definitely a big blow to the Celtics, who are trying to claim the best record in the Eastern Conference.
