Throughout his career, Jamal Crawford has established himself as one of the players with the best handles in the NBA. He has not had a shortage of highlight worthy plays where his dribbling has been on the spotlight, which has left a lot of fans in awe. That includes NBA games, as well as summer leagues he played in.

It can be recalled that he pulled off a fake behind-the-back dribble before where he completely misdirected his defender. With the All-Star Game happening on Sunday, Boston Celtics star guard Kyrie Irving saw it as the perfect opportunity to try it on and made his own version of Crawford’s fancy, yet effective move.

When asked if he thinks Irving learned it from him, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard replied to the tweet of ClutchPoints’ own Tomer Azarly, and said that Irving should be the one to answer that question instead.

For what it’s worth, Irving would’ve definitely made Crawford proud with him pulling off the move he made famous. It is also interesting to find out if Uncle Drew will admit that he was inspired by the veteran guard to try it on as it was indeed a very impressive move.

As the All-Star Game continues on the night, more fancy dribbling and highlight reel slams can be expected from the best players in the league today. It could also be a chance for Irving to try more crossovers inspired by other players, and who knows, even some more from Crawford himself.
