While the highlight of the Genshin Impact 2.4 Special Program Livestream is its new characters, events, and features, we still would like to shed some light on the game's upcoming new weapon. For Genshin Impact 2.4 new weapons, there is actually only one. Or at least, miHoYo's only revealed one so far. That is the Calamity Queller – a new 5-Star Polearm, and is Shenhe‘s signature weapon. Genshin Impact 2.4 New Weapon: The Calamity Queller
The Calamity Queller was revealed during the Genshin Impact 2.4 Special Program Livestream. However, official sources still haven't made many references to the weapon yet. According to the Genshin Impact datamining site Honey Impact, the Calamity Queller is a 5-Star Polearm. It is expected to feature in the Epitome Invocation Weapon Event Banner that will run alongside Shenhe's. Its stats are as follows:
Calamity Queller
Base Attack: 49
Secondary Stat: ATK
Secondary Stat Value: 3.6
Passive Ability: Extinguishing Precept – Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain Consummation for 20s after using an Elemental Skill, causing ATK to increase by 3.2% per second. This ATK increase has a maximum of 6 stacks. When the character equipped with the weapon is not on the field, Consummation's ATK Bonus is doubled.
Calamity Queller screams Shenhe, a support Cryo Polearm user. She benefits from Calamity Queller's stats and ATK Bonus, specially since the DMG Bonus Shenhe provides her Cryo teammates scales with her ATK. Calamity Queller's bonuses also double when Shenhe swaps out to the main DPS, which ensures that whoever Shenhe is supporting will have a massive boost in damage.
