Miami Heat and the Jimmy Butler had a strong start in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. Heat legend Dwyane Wade took this opportunity to clap back at the forward's critics.

Via Twitter, Wade had some choice words for those who have been criticizing the Heat in the NBA Finals.

Dwyane Wade pledged his support for the Heat — the team where he spent most of his career with. Not to mention that he won his three championship rings donning the Heat jersey. Though it completely made sense, it surprised some fans since they expected Wade to show love to his best buddy LeBron James. But loyalty runs in Wade's blood. He wants the Heat organization to topple the powerhouse Purple and Gold squad.

Miami put up a strong start in Game 3. Though Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic were out, the Heat — led by Butler — tried to put themselves in the best position to win.

Apart from his connections with the Heat, it should be noted that Wade also played with Butler. In the 2016-17 season, Wade went back to his hometown to play for the Chicago Bulls. Butler was an up and coming star then. And it's safe to say that the two built a friendship during their lone year as teammates. The team-up had many expectations. But things didn't pan out as expected. Despite all this, Wade and Butler seem to be brothers in arms. And whatever happens in the series, the Heat have Wade by their side.
