Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade says Detroit Pistons point guard Isiah Thomas is the best player to ever come out of Chicago.

Isiah Thomas had a legendary NBA career. He won two championships with the Pistons, was a 12-time All-Star and was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Dwyane Wade, who grew up in Robbins, Illinois, is one of the best players to come out of Chicago, but he believes Thomas has the better Chicago legacy.

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose, New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis, and Chicago Bulls small forward Jabari Parker are also players who had decorated high schools careers in The Windy City. Rose became the youngest MVP in NBA history with his hometown Bulls back in 2011.

Isiah Thomas has career averages of 19.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 9.3 assists in 979 regular season games. The 1990 Finals MVP shot 45.2 percent from the field, 29.0 percent from beyond the arc, and 75.9 percent from the free-throw line.

As we all know, this is Dwyane Wade's final season in the NBA. The future Hall of Famer is playing his last game in Chicago on Saturday, a place where he has played some of the best basketball of his life. Wade should get a standing ovation from the fans at the United Center.
