There has been growing chatter around Dwyane Wade's current contract situation with the Chicago Bulls with it all centered on the possibility of him being out bought out by the team.

For the most part, Wade has stayed the course with the rumors by choosing to stay away from addressing it directly. However, the 35-year-old may have dropped a subtle hint to TMZ over this past weekend that he may re-sign with the Miami Heat if he is indeed bought out of his deal by the Bulls.

“I'm under contract. I can't answer that.”

The decision to answer the question in that manner without shooting down that notion can easily lead many to believe that he would in fact trek back to the organization that he spent the first 13 years of his NBA career with. He has some extremely strong ties to the Heat that could easily be reworked out on both sides.

This all depends on whether the Bulls do pursue to buy out of the final year of his two-year, $47 million deal that is worth $23.8 million for the 2017-18 campaign. Even if he remains a member of the Bulls this upcoming season, he will be an unrestricted free agent next summer who will be free to sign wherever he desires.

At some point, the ball will be in his court to decide whether he truly desires a return to the Heat possibly spend the remainder of his career with the franchise.
