He may not be a megastar, but PJ Tucker has become a fixture in the NBA Playoffs. That's because a guy like him will always have a place in any team contending for the title. Just ask the Miami Heat, who gladly acquired Tucker from the Milwaukee Bucks in the offseason.

Last season, it was the Bucks who added Tucker in the middle of the campaign. Of course, he immediately earned a pivotal role and helped the Bucks win the crown.

While it was painful for him that the Bucks let him walk away last summer due to financial concerns, the Heat enforcer told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears that he will always have vivid memories of his championship run with Giannis Antetokounmpo and company.

“Picking KD (Kevin Durant) up 94 feet for seven games (in the Eastern Conference Semifinals), dog. I am not going to lie, after that, I was like, ‘Yo, I thought it was over.’ That’s definitely the hardest thing I ever had to do, guard the best offensive player in the world. That was tough, man. Giannis got hurt and that was tough. Phoenix got up 2-0 on the series (in the NBA Finals). We went through so many trials throughout those playoffs. To win, it was like nothing I ever felt.”

Now, Tucker is looking to bring that same fire with the Heat, who drew first blood in their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

With the Heat looking like a well-oiled machine on both ends, Tucker could find himself in another NBA Finals. But should we still be surprised?
