In their first actual competitive game together since Paul was acquired by the Houston Rockets in a blockbuster trade with the L.A. Clippers earlier this summer, the duo powered the LA Unified to a close 83-81 triumph against the Hometown Favorites on Sunday. Harden showed no rust this offseason, as the bearded guard posted 27 points. Paul, on the other hand, scored 13 points with 10 dimes to boot. Other notable players on LA Unified's squad include another Rocket in Bobby Brown and Pooh Jeter.
According to ESPN's Lawrence Murray, Paul had a bad first half, but rebounded right after halftime as the guard sank three three-pointers to help his team get the lead at the end of the third period.

Based on Paul's outside touch in this game, it seems like he's really a fit for the Rockets, who led the NBA last season in 3-pointers made and attempted per game.
