The New York Jets extended Quincy Enunwa in the final week of their 2018 season before they took on the New England Patriots. Now, the team is working out another Quincy to possibly join the roster this season.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, New York is set to work out former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo. The Jets have been searching for some depth at the wide receiver position in recent weeks.

For Adeboyejo, he began his career with the Ravens in 2017 after being signed as an undrafted free agent. Coming out of college at Ole Miss, the 6-foot-3 wideout worked his way to earning a roster spot for Baltimore in 2017.

However, Adeboyejo suited up in just one game in 2017 and failed to start in any games for the team. Since then, he has spent most of his time on the Ravens' practice squad before being released by the franchise in July.

As for the Jets, they have been scouring the free agent market to find themselves a valuable depth piece to their offense. Presently, the Jets have Robby Anderson, Enunwa, and Jamison Crowder leading the way at wide receiver.

Behind them, New York has players like Josh Bellamy and Deontay Burnett competing for spots on the roster. The Jets do not seem to be content with the current state of their wide receivers in the third week of the preseason.

In just a couple of weeks, teams will be making their roster cuts to trim their rosters down to 53 players. If New York doesn't sign Adeboyejo, the team could be doing their research on players who are released before the regular season.
