New York Knicks center Enes Kanter still hasn't made his decision if he will opt into his $18.6 million option, and that news comes from Kanter himself.

Early Friday morning Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reported that Kanter would exercise his player option and return to the New York Knicks.

Eight minutes after Charania tweeted that, Kanter took to Twitter to dispute the report, saying he still hasn't made his decision yet.

He has until 11:59 PM on Friday night to decide to opt in or opt out, so the decision should come side today, and even Kanter's own words show that he is leaning more towards opting in than out.

“With Coach Fizdale, I want to stay more,” Kanter said recently via SNY. “I know his mentality, I know how much freedom he gives to his players. It's going to help my decision for sure. I think he's going to change a lot of things. He seems like a relationship with him is like a friendship relationship. It's not a player-coach relationship. I talked to him for two hours and it gives you so much confidence.”

Kanter had said earlier that he would wait until the last day to make his decision but he has said many times that he loves playing in New York and the fans. He also seems to really like David Fizdale, and it has to be a draw to play under him for at least one more season under him.

All signs still point to him opting in, but we won't know for sure until Kanter says it's true.
