Julius Randle gets real on Knicks cold streak after loss to Nuggets

Knicks, Julius Randle

The New York Knicks suffered another disappointing home loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday 113-99. The Knicks fall to 11-12 on the season and a surprising 5-8 at Madison Square Garden.

Julius Randle had some words for his team after the Knicks disappointing loss,

“We’ve got to look ourselves in the mirror and decide what we want this season to be. I know what I want it to be. I know what the guys want it to be, but we’ve got to commit to it.”

Everything that Randle said here is correct. The Knicks simply aren’t playing good basketball as of late and if they want to have the season that they all know that they can, they’re going to need to turn it around as soon as possible. They have not been playing good basketball as of late as they are 4-6 in their last 10 games. Julius Randle is also somebody who needs to be better for this Knicks team. He’s having a good season averaging 19.9 points per game, 10.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists. If the Knicks want to make anything of their season, they’re either need to go out and get a guy who can score 25 plus points per night, or they’re going to need Randle to step his game up.

After what many had thought was going to be a season that the Knicks were going to possibly win a playoff round, or two, it looks like they are going to have a disappointing season once again and fall short of their goals.
