Nikola Jokic dropped 32 points, 11 rebounds and five assist for the Denver Nuggets as they beat the New York Knicks on Saturday 113-99.

Jokic has always been one to make jokes after his team wins. On Friday night Jokic went to the Meadowlands Race Track to see horse races and he says they were a reason for his success on Saturday. Tim Bontemps of ESPN reported that Jokic said this about the race track after the Nuggets win,

“Actually, maybe. There was nine drivers from last night, they were at the game today. I was with them last night. Great guys, and the Meadowlands is a great, great, great track. Maybe I need to go to the horses every time I travel. Maybe the front office or someone needs to check that out.”

It's not like Jokic did anything out of the ordinary on Saturday as he usually drops over 25 points with at least 10 rebounds in most of the Nuggets games. Who knows, maybe the Nuggets have been going to see horses on every road trip? If they aren't, maybe they should start because Denver came into Madison Square Garden and took over the building with a commanding win.

This was an impressive win for the Nuggets who are missing most of their players. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr have not been playing with the team and it is unclear when either of them will return for Denver. If Denver wants to make a deep playoff run this year, Jokic is going to have to play the best that he ever has and he's been doing so recently.
