On Christmas day, Kevin Knox and the New York Knicks faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks at home in Madison Square Garden. The game was fairly close at halftime, as the Bucks were up 48-46. But then, the Bucks came out of out of the gate in the third quarter and took a 16-point advantage.

The Bucks ended up finishing the game with a score of 109-95. The Bucks had five players scoring in double-digits, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the charge with 30 points, 14 rebounds, and three assists on 13-of-21 shooting.

The Knicks also had five players in double-digits scoring. Knox had 21 points, six rebounds, and three assists while shooting 8-of-20 from the field.

After the game, Kevin Knox pointed out that the Garden seemed quieter than usual. Madison Square Garden has the penchant for being one of the loudest basketball arenas in the world. There's a very good reason why it's considered as the Mecca of basketball.

Knox told Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News:

“It was fairly quiet in there. That was the weird thing. I didn’t really understand. I don’t know if that’s a New York thing. But it was quiet pretty much the whole game.”

Kevin Knox has had a good season thus far as a rookie for the rebuilding Knicks. After 27 games, Knox has averaged 11.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game while shooting 38 percent from the field.

The Knicks are still in rebuild mode as they wait for the return of their star player Kristaps Porzingis. They likely will attempt to make a large free agent splash this upcoming offseason.

The Knicks are 9-25 this season, sitting 13th in the NBA's Eastern Conference. They will play the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, December 27th at home.
