The New York Knicks have the worst record in the NBA over the last 20 seasons.

The Knicks are just 672-952 over the last 20 seasons.

New York had the worst record in the NBA last season. They won just 17 games. To make matters even worse, the Knicks didn't land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. New York ended up with the third overall pick and selected Duke small forward RJ Barrett.

Over the last 20 seasons, the Knicks have made the playoffs just six times. New York has had a winning record only five times over the last 20 seasons. Under owner James Dolan, the Knicks have truly been a walking disaster.

After losing the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft to the New Orleans Pelicans, Knicks fans were hoping the franchise would land stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in free agency. That didn't happen either, as KD and Kyrie went to the other team in New York City, the Brooklyn Nets.

It's been a tough 20 years for Knicks fans and there doesn't appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully Barrett turns into an All-Star and can bring the team back to relevancy.
