At this point in his career, there's no denying that Atlanta Hawks guards Trae Young is one of the brightest young stars in the NBA today. It's also absolutely true that he's one of the most hated individuals for New York Knicks fans.

Young's beef with the Knicks and pretty much the entire city of New York was on full display again of late after a capacity crowd at a recent concert held in NYC started randomly chanting “F–k Trae Young!” The best part was that Young wasn't even in the venue to begin with.

The Hawks star recently caught wind of the slander and decided to clap back on Twitter. Young just laughed it off, though:

Talk about living rent-free in the minds of New Yorkers, right? Trae clearly loves playing the part of the villain, however, and he even decided to quote Cordae in his response. The rapper himself didn't seem to appreciate the crowd's blasphemous chants, thus prompting an “I'm just tryna vibe” statement from Cordae.

The Knicks host Trae Young and the Hawks one final time in the regular season on March 23, and I'm pretty sure the home crowd in Madison Square Garden will have a few things to say about Trae.
