The New York Knicks are currently enjoying one of their best seasons in ages as they look to make some noise in the playoffs. But that doesn't mean the team isn't looking to get even better this summer.

According to SNY, the Knicks have Raptors veteran guard Kyle Lowry on their radar. Lowry is set to become a free agent after this season. The 35-year-old was on the verge of a trade deadline move back in March, but he ultimately stayed put. However, with the direction of the franchise uncertain, Lowry will likely be on his way out.

The Knicks have been linked to numerous point guards over the last week. They're also expected to pursue Dennis Schroder and Lonzo Ball in free agency as they look to strengthen their backcourt.

If there was one weakness in the rotation, it would be at the 1 with Elfrid Payton. Immanuel Quickley is developing into a terrific player and Derrick Rose is great as the sixth man, but the Knicks could use a legitimate starting guard to pair with RJ Barrett and budding superstar Julius Randle.

Lowry is averaging 17.2 points and 7.3 assists this season for the Raps and would be a solid addition in New York from a scoring and playmaking standpoint. He's expected to demand a multi-year deal, but the Knicks do have more than enough cap space to accommodate his desires.

Another longshot for Tom Thibodeau's team is Damian Lillard. However, he has voiced his aspirations to win in Portland. Nevertheless, the Knicks will definitely be making some moves this summer, and Kyle Lowry could be one of them.
