Kyle Kuzma caught some flak on Twitter, but this time it wasn't about some funky fashion choices. The Washington Wizards forward instead was reacting to a tweet on Elon Musk.
The tweet in question revolved around the billion-dollar tax bill that Elon Musk shared on his personal account. The Tesla founder divulged that he'll be coughing up more than $11 billion in taxes this year.
The news prompted Kuzma to tweet out in sarcasm against the notion that the rich, which in fact includes him, don't pay taxes.
It didn't take long before Kyle Kuzma started receiving a handful of responses for making the case in favor of Elon Musk and other ultra wealthy individuals. Some wondered what his point was in arguing for people who have that much money to begin with.
Others tried to educate Kyle Kuzma, offering explanations as to why Elon Musk deservedly has to foot a tax bill that large.
Others just went to straight up shading Kyle Kuzma for his controversial stance.
Kuz has yet to respond to any of the comments. But perhaps he's more focused on trying to get his Wizards back on track.
After racing to a 10-3 record to start the season, Kyle Kuzma and the Wizards have now fallen to 17-17.
