Kyle Kuzma is already one of the best offensive weapons of the Los Angeles Lakers, and new head coach Frank Vogel already sees big things for the 23-year-old forward.

In a video posted on Twitter by the Lakers, Vogel discussed his initial impression of the team's young core. And for him, the Purple and Gold got a rare gem in Kuzma — especially with the way he plays on the offensive end despite being just two years in the league.

“Kyle Kuzma has absolutely hit it out of the park in his first two years in this league. There was some questions marks — he was drafted pretty low in the first round — and a lot of people were upset that they missed on him. Another guy that can dribble, pass, shoot and guard,” Vogel explained, via Christian Rivas of Silver Screen & Roll.

“What he does on the offensive end, you don’t see that from a second year player — you just don’t. He’s very very polished and sky’s the limit for him.”

Kuzma, who was selected 27th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, is largely considered as the biggest steal of that draft class. In his rookie year, he showed a polished offensive game as he put up averages of 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

The University of Utah product then upped his scoring output to 18.7 points per contest in his second year, which is made even more impressive with the fact that he's not the primary offensive option of the team after the arrival of LeBron James.

It remains to be seen how Vogel plans to utilize Kuzma and get the most of him. The upcoming third-year forward has ways to go in order to have a complete offensive arsenal, but what he has shown so far raises hopes about his development.
