Somehow, everyone knew that 2020 was going to be a terrible year when Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, along with his daughter Gianna and seven other people, passed away in a tragic helicopter crash in late January. Since then, everything has gone to the dumps. With the coronavirus pandemic, the police brutality, the U.S. Capitol insurrection, and everything else going on all over the world, 2020 was definitely a year to forget.

However, in a year full of darkness, some people found ways to provide light to the world in the form of Kobe Bryant murals. Los Angeles certainly holds the one and only Kobe Bryant dear to its heart, and many talented artists showed their love and appreciation for the five-time NBA champion by making amazing murals of the late Lakers legend.

USA TODAY shared a compilation video of the muralists showcasing their art and how Bryant inspired them to create the murals. In addition, some Los Angeles residents also shared how the Kobe artwork inspired them to live their lives and see their relationships in a different light.

Bryant was and still is undoubtedly an inspiration to millions of people all over the world, especially to those loyal Laker fans in Southern California.
