Even before he entered the league, Lonzo Ball has had a lot of attention on him. From the doubts many had on him on whether he can play at the highest level, to his unique shooting form, he has been one of the most talked about rookies this year. However, he recently proved that he can also put up shots using an orthodox form, as he and his teammate, Kyle Kuzma, mimicked the way each other shoots during their morning shootaround on Thursday.
Ball was able to shoot just like his fellow rookie and appeared to be enjoying their time copying their shooting forms. It may have looked awkward at first, but he was even able to knock down some of the 3-pointers by hearing the ball hit nothing but net, via a video posted by NBA on ESPN.

While it's hard to question the unorthodox form Ball has, he has shown that it won't be a hindrance for him to be more efficient with his shots. After his poor shooting to start the season, he has improved by leaps and bounds, before missing 15 straight for the Lakers due to a knee injury. He now averages 36.3 percent from the field, which is a far cry from the less than 30 percent field goal percentage he had earlier in the season.
Ball is not expected to change his shooting form, but it is still an intriguing sight to see him shooting differently and in a “normal form.” For what it's worth, should the defense prevent him from using his natural one, he has shown that he can change it when needed, and still convert some baskets.
