LaMelo Ball looks poised to be the next big thing. The Charlotte Hornets guard won the Rookie of the Year award and has shown flashes of star potential in his first season.

But once upon a time it was his older brother Lonzo who was the talk of the league and a prized top 3 NBA draft pick as well. The question remains: who's the better Ball brother, LaMelo or Lonzo?

In a hilarious segment with GQ, the youngest Ball brother goes undercover to answer some burning questions fans have, including finally settling the debate between him and his brother. If you ask LaMelo, the answer is quite clear.

“Imma go with LaMelo Ball is better. It's just a fact. That's it. All right. Play style different? We got some similarities, but then we also got a lot of differences. I think the difference is, I'm better. That's just my opinion.”

While LaMelo Ball is obviously goofing around, it's hard to argue with his take on the matter thus far.

In Lonzo's rookie season, he certainly filled the box score by posting averages of 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. However, his efficiency was abysmal. Lonzo shot 36% from the field and 30.5% from the three-point line. Worst of all was his Shaq-like number from the free-throw line, shooting 45.1% from the charity stripe.

LaMelo Ball meanwhile entered the league as a teenager and needed little adjustment. His first season with the Hornets saw averages of 15.7 points per game while shooting at a 43.6% clip, both of which would be career highs for older Lonzo.

The book is far from being fully written for both Ball brothers, and even LiAngelo for that matter. But this race is clearly LaMelo Ball's to lose.
