Much has been said about the relationship of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. However, the two Dallas Mavericks stars showed everyone they don't need to be Luka-Bobi close to be effective teammates.

On Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans, Doncic and Porzingis connected for a perfect alley-oop during the third quarter, showcasing that chemistry Mavs fans have been raring to see all season long.

At the top of the key, Luka surveyed the court and found KP with an open lane to the rim. Sure enough, that is enough for Doncic to launch the cannon of a pass that hit Porzingis' hands perfectly for the slam.

Okay, that was one play. However, Mavs fans will surely be happy to see Luka Doncic involving Kristaps Porzingis more on the offense. After all, when the two click offensively, Dallas transforms into an unstoppable team that can score in a variety of ways.

After the game against the Pelicans, the Mavs play the Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves for their final two games of the regular season in a bid to secure their place in the postseason and avoid the play-in tournament. Hopefully, we'll get to see more Luka Magic and Unicorn dunks in what should be a thrilling finish to the 2020-21 campaign.
