The Minnesota Vikings will travel to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. Regardless of Patrick Mahomes' status, this game could turn into a shootout between two talented offenses.

The Vikings are amid a four-game winning streak due to the improved play of their offense. Over the past four weeks, Minnesota has outscored its opponents 127-69.

As a result, the Vikings are 6-2 and are still within striking distance of the Green Bay Packers for the lead in the NFC North. All the Vikings can do is focus on who they are playing and that begins with the Chiefs on Sunday.

Currently, Mahomes is listed as questionable, but Kansas City has already activated Chad Henne to the active roster. That means that it will likely be another week until we see Mahomes start for the Chiefs again.

Even without Mahomes, Matt Moore showed in Week 8 that he is more than capable of leading the offense. Therefore, the Vikings are going to need to perform well on offense if they hope to win on the road.

With that being said, here are three bold predictions for the Vikings' offense against the Chiefs.

3. Kirk Cousins will throw for 350 yards

During the month of October, Kirk Cousins was nearly unstoppable throwing the ball. Furthermore, in the four games in October, Cousins completed 78 percent of his passes for 1,261 yards, 10 touchdowns, and one interception.

The veteran signal-caller will look to continue his momentum into Sunday's game versus the Chiefs. In recent weeks, Kansas City's pass defense has shown some improvement. As a matter of fact, the Chiefs own the 11th ranked pass defense through eight weeks.

Even with that being the case, Cousins will eclipse 350 yards through the air in Week 9. It would be Cousins' fourth 300-yard performance in the past five weeks.

2. The Vikings will rush for over 200 yards

The one difference in the Vikings' offense in 2019 is their ability to run the ball. Of course, that is due to Dalvin Cook finally being healthy for Minnesota.

Presently, Cook leads the NFL with 823 rushing yards on 156 attempts and nine touchdowns. Along with Cook, the Vikings have also utilized rookie Alexander Mattison in their rushing attack.

With the duo of Cook and Mattison, the Vikings have the third-best rushing offense in the NFL. On the other side, Kansas City allows 145 rushing yards per game (third-worst in the NFL). In light of that, the Vikings backfield duo will exceed 200 yards on Sunday.

1. The Viking will have three players with 5+ receptions

Without a doubt, the Vikings have one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Aside from those two guys, Minnesota also has Cook, Kyle Rudolph, and Irv Smith Jr. at Cousins' disposal.

Ahead of Sunday's game, Thielen is currently questionable to play with a hamstring injury. However, he was able to be a limited participant in practice throughout the week.

No matter what his status is for Sunday, Minnesota's offense will have three players catch five or more passes. The only week they've been able to accomplish that came in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.
