Sources have told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports and Oliver Maroney of Lineups that the Atlanta Hawks John Collins and the Miami Heats Derrick Jones Jr. are going to be in the dunk contest. Miles Bridges was also previously reported to be in the contest.

Derrick Jones Jr. this year is in his third NBA season. He went undrafted in the 2016 draft and has played with the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors and now the Miami Heat. So far this season, Jones has played 18.5 minutes while averaging 7.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game, shooting 49.7 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from deep. Jones is an uber-athletic swingman who should impress in the upcoming contest.

John Collins is in his sophomore season with the Hawks. They selected him with the 19th overall pick in the 2017 draft. The former Wake Forest Demon Deacon has averaged 19.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while playing 30 minutes a game. He's shooting 58.2 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. The 6'10” big man is known for throwing down ferocious dunks. He'll have every opportunity to shine during All-Star weekend.

Miles Bridges is a rookie swingman for the Charlotte Hornets. They drafted him 12th overall out of Michigan State. Bridges has had a minimal role within head coach's James Borrego's offense but has still played fairly effectively. So far this season he's averaged 19.4 minutes a night while scoring 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist while shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 29.7 percent from deep. It will be intriguing to see what kind of dunks he has under his sleeve.
