While speaking to NBA reporters on Friday, Miami Heat swingman Andre Iguodala talked about how Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry and Heat All-Star small forward Jimmy Butler are similar.
Iguodala says both Curry and Butler have “maximized all their attributes.” The former Finals MVP won three titles with Curry on the Warriors and is currently teammates with Butler on the Heat, who are among the 22 teams partaking in the NBA “bubble” games at Walt Disney World in sunny Orlando, Florida.

No one thought Curry and Butler were going to be superstars in the NBA, especially Butler, who was the 30th pick in the 2011 draft and averaged single digits his first two years in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.
Butler's story is very inspirational. He was homeless at one point after his mom kicked him out of the house as a youngster. The 6-foot-7 swingman also played junior college before going to Marquette. He's now one of the best players in the league with legit two-way ability and the leader of a Heat team that has a good shot of winning the Eastern Conference at Walt Disney World.
As for Curry, he's always had superstar talent, but Steph's ankle injuries at the beginning of his career caused some NBA pundits to wonder whether the sharpshooter could last in the league. Fast forward to today, and Curry is one of the league's top players, a two-time MVP, three-time champion, and undoubtedly the best shooter in NBA history.
