The Boston Celtics handled business in Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks, edging Giannis Antetokounmpo and the reigning champions 109-81. While their defense played a huge role in the series, their 3-point shooting was just as crucial.

In Game 7 alone, the Celtics made a record-breaking 22 triples out of their 55 attempts. It certainly made the huge difference in the blowout win, with the Bucks simply having no answer to that. As ESPN Stats & Info further highlighted, Boston made 53 more 3-pointers than Milwaukee in their series, which is the largest 3-point field goal differential in NBA history.

The Bucks still won three games and forced the series to a Game 7, so they certainly deserve a ton of credit for that. However, the absence of another shot-creator and shooter in Khris Middleton has certainly made things really difficult for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the team.

Without a reliable second-option on offense, the Bucks' attack staggered at times. As for the Celtics, they took full advantage of that and managed to slow down Giannis and co. with their top-rated defense.

Boston will certainly be happy about their performance. They just proved that they have a reliable shooting that can get them out of tough situations, which should be crucial as they head to the East Finals.

As for the Bucks, it's a huge lesson learned. They need to add shooting depth behind Giannis since the Greek Freak will always attract defenses. After all, they never know when injury will hit them.
