Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has been upgraded to “probable” for Wednesday night's game against the Cavs, according to a report from ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

Tatum has been dealing with an illness, which kept him out of Tuesday night's game against the Nets. Initial reports indicated that he would not be traveling with his teammates to Cleveland, but it sounds like he might be feeling a bit better.

Notably, Bontemps reports that the Celtics will be without several other players for Wednesday matchup in Cleveland, including Kemba Walker (rest), Jaylen Brown (hamstring) and Gordon Hayward (knee).

Tatum is enjoying his best season in the NBA. The former No. 3 overall pick has made 55 appearances with the Celtics this season (all starts), racking up averages of 23.5 points on 45.0 percent shooting from the field (39.6 percent from beyond the arc), 7.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and just under one block (0.9) in 34.5 minutes per outing. Notably, his averages for points, rebounds and assists are all career-highs.

If Tatum is unable to play, Grant Williams could see an increased workload.

Wednesday night's Celtics-Cavs matchup is scheduled to tip inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m. ET. Boston will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
