15 seasons and 141 playoff games later, Boston Celtics big man Al Horford has finally made the NBA Finals. The basketball world were loving his emotional reaction on Sunday and Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young couldn't help but congratulate Horford as well, who spent the first nine years of his career in the A:

What a moment for Horford. Trae never played with him on the Hawks because he left in 2016, but Young knows that Al still has an impact with the fans down south.

The greatest thing about this for Horford is that last season he mutually decided with the OKC Thunder to sit out and let their young core develop. Fast forward a year later and he's helping the Celtics chase an NBA championship.

During Horford's time with the Hawks, he played a key part in the franchise making the postseason five of the seven years he was on the team, serving as one of their best scorers and rebounders.

During this current playoff run, Horford is proving to be a massive part of Boston's success, averaging 11.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 43% from three-point land. Not bad for a 35-year-old.

I'm sure he'd be very thankful to know the Atlanta Hawks organization and their franchise star still have the utmost respect for him.
