Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens has nothing but high praises for Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro ahead of their teams' Eastern Conference Finals matchup.

There's no question that Miami will not be where they are right now without the help of their impressive rookies. Kendrick Nunn has been huge for Miami all-season long, but the sharpshooting Herro has also had quite an impressive debut which Stevens acknowledged before their series begins.

“Great shooter,” Stevens said of the Heat rookie, per the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “Can play off pick and roll. Has many great passes in the playoffs. Looks more comfortable every time he plays. Looks like he doesn’t have much fear at all. All the good stuff. He’s a heck of a player.”

Tyler Herro has contributed in more ways than one for the Heat in his first season in the league. The one-and-done swingman from Kentucky has been a reliable weapon off-the-bench for head coach Erik Spoelstra, and he has been locked on and ready every time he has been called upon.

So far in his first postseason run, Herro has been averaging 14.7 points per game while shooting an impressive 40 percent from long distance.

Brad Stevens knows that Marcus Smart and the rest of his backcourt will have their hands full to try and contain Herro and the red-hot Heat, who have been unstoppable even against DPOY Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Celtics are still recovering from a long series against the Toronto Raptors, during which they needed all seven games to finish. The Heat, meanwhile, seemed to have an easier time as they have dropped just one game so far against the Indiana Pacers and Bucks.

Boston and Miami start their seven-game series on Tuesday.
