Boston Celtics veteran Kyrie Irving and Brooklyn Nets All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell are the only players in the Eastern Conference who are averaging at least 20 points and 6.5 assists per game, according to Anthony Puccio of Nets Daily.

For the Celtics, Irving is putting up 23.5 points and 7.1 assists. Meanwhile, for the Nets, Russell is averaging 20.2 points and 6.8 assists.

Kyrie Irving has been one of the best players in the NBA for years. Now that he's the main guy on the team, Irving has been showcasing his playmaking abilities by racking up assists for the Celtics all season.

Kyrie wasn't always able to control the ball with the Cleveland Cavaliers because he was playing with LeBron James, who is very ball dominant. Irving is showing this season he's more than capable of running the show on his own.

Irving is shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from beyond the arc this season. So, Uncle Drew is getting his 20-plus points on a nightly basis in an efficient manner.

D'Angelo Russell is one of the best stories in the NBA. The lefty made his first All-Star team this season and is setting himself up nicely for restricted free agency this summer.

Russell has eight double-doubles on the season. He's shooting 43.1 percent overall and 36.1 percent from the 3-point line.
